This image was scanned on 01/06/2007 during the winter in Elizabethtown, PA. It is cataloged under the terms people and family in this photography database.

Photographer Comments: This is the envelope containing my first group of 126 negatives shot as a child with my Kodak Instamatic in 1982. The image of the man with the glasses and bible verses pictured on the wrapper will be forever etched into the nether regions of my memory!! Recently, I was feeling nostalgic and performed a Google search trying to find an example of one of these wrappers but came up empty. So, I e-mailed my mother in Pennsylvania to see if she still had any laying around. After hunting in the attic she found this one, scanned it and sent it to me? I thought it was hilarious! I decided to post it here in case someone else might be out there searching for a picture of one of these oddball envelopes!

Additionally, Martha thought of search words that someone might use to locate this picture including the terms negatives, Scrudlen, mail-in, 110, Scrudlan, Skrudland, vintage, history, development, signaturecolor, negative, historic, Scrudland photo, photos, photography, old, envelope, 126, pictures, Sckrudland, mail order, processing and Kodak Instamatic, so he included these on this page as a service to himself and others who would like to download this free photograph!
