A picture of a jetliner flying into the city over the highway. The distinctive octogan-shaped Holiday Inn building can be seen in the distance. This photograph dated January 11, 2002 was taken by Jim Epler during the winter in San Diego, CA on a bridge overlooking the I-5. It is cataloged under the terms travel, cities, architecture, transportation, urban scenes and streets & bridges in this photography database.

The image was exposed on 35mm Kodak Tri-X 400 black & white film stock using a Pentax Asahi Spotmatic II camera with a Asahi Pentax 135mm f/3.5 lens stopped to f/4.0 and exposed at a speed of 1/250th of a second.

Additionally, Jim thought of search words that someone might use to locate this picture including the terms jet, aircraft, commuting, driving, skyline, i-5, silver gelatin, autos, airline, Interstate, South, cars, flight, highway, I Five, Holiday Inn San Diego Downtown, auto, plane, California, trucks, traffic, black and white, I5, approach and airplane, so he included these on this page as a service to himself and others who would like to download this free photograph!
