| A pleasant spot of flowering spring magnolia bushes and dogwood trees near the parish church. Spanish moss can be seen dangling from the tree trunk in the foreground. This photograph captured in April, 1997 was taken by Jim Epler in Charleston, SC near St. Andrews Parish Church. It is cataloged under the terms nature, travel, countryside views, rural scenes, seasonal scenes and flora in this photography database. The image was exposed on 35mm Kodak GOLD 200 color film stock using a Kodak point and shoot camera with a lens. Photographer Comments: Obviously, I wish I would have had more than a point-and-shoot camera at this time of my life. I didn't take up SLR photography until graduate school almost two full years later. Had I had a better camera in Charleston, I most certainly would have been able to better capture the beautiful springtime scenes that dotted the area. Nevertheless, I can still feel the warmth and color I experienced at that time through these snapshots. |
